Welcome to miredo's "shit I have favorited in MAME right now" list! Last updated Feburary 19th, 2025. Don't expect regular updates to this. It is a bit of a mess, and it will always be. I'm running MAME 0.274 right now. I don't know if I'll keep old versions of this file. Anything with * before the name is something I want to point out in particular. Anything with ** before the name is a game I like a lot (and want to point that out). Not having two stars, let alone one, doesn't mean I don't like that game. Yes, there are probably too many starred games. A game being on this list at all doesn't mean I actually play it much. For example, as much as I like Alien vs. Predator, for example, I haven't fired it up in months. There are a few games here that are listed as not working, but MAME's working/not working rationale is screwy. IIDX will crash on you at random last I checked, for example. I cannot actually think of any reason other than input latency for Taiko no Tatsujin or DDR to be marked not working. I thiiiink Cyber Sled crashes at some point which is why it's marked as not working.
