Here are some channels, music, and other videos that I like a lot. I don't know how much I'm going to update this, YouTube sucks now, and not just because of the dumb shit ID verification thing they want to do. Who fucking knows. At some point I fucked up a few of these, but it should be fixed now.
You may want to look into yt-dlp to download videos.

Channels:
- clabretro - tech Youtuber that messes around with a lot of cool enterprise gear, stuff like Cisco, IBM, and Sun hardware. I think the only videos I haven't liked from him were when he messes around more with consumer gear since he's surprisingly unfamiliar with it (to the point where he has far more SCSI disks than IDE ones, which has been an issue multiple times). I really like his videos on setting up the Sun thin clients like the Sun Ray
- Usagi Electric - VERY cool tech Youtuber with some incredibly rare and old systems, most notably a fully working Centurion minicomputer setup. I remember starting watching him around when he first got the thing, and I never actually expected it'd be fully functional to the state that it's in. Incredibly impressive all around. He's very into vacuum tube systems too, having built his own 1-bit vacuum tube computer, and he has restored a Bendix G15 vacuum tube system from the 50s. Incredible stuff.
- Tasting History with Max Miller - food history channel with stunningly good presentation. Probably my favorite cooking channel of them all.
- いろいろな日本語 (iroiro na nihongo) - Japanese immersion learning channel that gets you into things fully in Japanese. Everything, with very few exceptions, is taught in Japanese. I particularly like his videos on reading the Yotsubato! manga.
- OLD SCHOOL HARDCORE - absolute legend of a channel archiving hundreds of classic hardcore and other techno sets.
- ATARIHAZURE Omoshiro TV II - Japanese retro game channel (enable subtitles) that showcases cool, sexy, and dramatic things in classic video games. Just someone who loves games and being a Japanese channel that has English subs, documents a few things that might be better known in Japan but aren't really talked about outside the country.
- Sandwiches of History - fun channel where a guy makes various sandwiches and tries to plus them up a little. Lots of weird sandwiches here, a surprising amount described as tasting good but I haven't been willing to follow along with him and try them.
- blurtic - Very good rhythm game player. I mostly watch for IIDX/BMS stuff, but he does a lot.
- leonid - Extremely good Pop'n Music player. It is both inspiring and terrifying to watch someone who is very skilled at Pop'n.
